Trent Teske - (9-12 Choral Director, 7-8 Co-Director)

Trent Teske is currently in his second year, fourth year of teaching, as Director of Choral Activities at Emmetsburg High School. He currently directs all high school curricular ensembles as well as High Voltage, Black & Gold and E-harmony. His other roles include preparing students for All-State, Solo/Ensemble Contest, Large Group Contest and directs the Fall Musical every other year.
Originally from New Providence, Iowa; He obtained his Bachelor of Music Education degree at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa (2016). Mr. Teske loves being involved in Community Theatre and singing Barbershop in the North Iowa area. Mr. Teske is currently a member of the American Choral Director's Association and the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Laura Gustafson - (K-4 General Music, 7-8 Co-Director)

Laura Gustafson is currently in her fifth year at Emmetsburg Community Schools. Originally from Cherokee, Iowa; She obtained her Bachelor of Music Education degree at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa (2001). Mrs. Gustafson serves many roles in the district from teaching in the classroom to accompanying the many ensembles and performers in the district.
John Zauche - (5-6 General Music, 5-6 Band Director)
5th/6th General Music, 5th/6th Band
John Zauche is currently in his second year, fifth year of teaching, as the 5th & 6th grade band & choir teacher at Emmetsburg Schools. Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa; He obtained his Bachelor of Music Education degree at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa (2015). Mr. Zauche previously taught 5-12 instrumental and vocal music at West Bend-Mallard CSD in West Bend, Iowa.
In addition to his undergraduate degree, he has received his Orff Level 1 and Kodaly Level 1 Certifications from Drake University. His professional memberships include: American Orff Association, Organization of American Kodaly Educators, Iowa Bandmasters Association and the Iowa Choral Directors Association.
